How did I get here?

I’ve been a nerd and an aesthete since I started playing with code (and PrintShop) on my family’s first Mac as an elementary schooler. I’ve always loved that I could keep moving — code, brand, packaging, websites, product, AI — without ever having to pick one lane.

The through-line: I think technology should make people's lives easier, richer, more beautiful. Not through the tech itself, but through what it lets them do in the real world. That feels increasingly contrarian lately.

I want to build tools that make people more capable, more confident, and more connected to themselves and to each other.

“Christy is a great balance of strategic thinker and executor. She was my thought partner in ambiguous spaces and also my on-the-ground support for delivery. Her curiosity, fungibility, and user-centered mindset makes her a valuable addition to any team.”

AI Design Manager, Capital One

“I’ve worked with Christy for the past two years and relied on her expert visual design skills and thoughtful approach to AI design. What differentiates Christy as a collaborator is that she cares just as much about the work as the people (client or teammate) who make it. She’ll magically turn you into her design co-conspirator, and the work will be better because of it.”

Design Lead for the Americas at IBM’s Cloud Garage

As of January 2026, I’m looking for my next thing. If everything above sounds like a good fit, let’s chat.

I’m based in Austin, Texas. When I’m not designing or building something, I’m either outside, making weird music, hanging out with my family, or some combo of all of those.
